Layout
The render viewport sits top-left, the Vortex Controls are docked on the
right, and the effect timeline runs along the bottom. The vortex flight is
always running — the timeline only drives the effects, titles, audio and moments.
Presentation mode
The ▶ button (top-left of the viewport) hides every panel, runs a
3–2–1 countdown, then plays the timeline from the start.
Press Esc to exit.
Vortex controls
- Flight — travel speed, auto/manual camera, shake, banking, drift, FOV, pause.
- Vortex — intensity, colour cycle, twist, smokiness, energy filaments,
flow speed (negative reverses the flow), saturation, colour palette, lightning flashes.
- Atmosphere — cloud density, depth layer, inner layers, speed streaks, particles.
- TARDIS — spin, tumble, edge surfing (rides the wall, base tilted toward it), float, vortex lighting.
- Cinematic — motion blur, bloom strength/radius, chromatic aberration, vignette, grain.
With Auto Camera off, drag in the viewport to orbit the TARDIS and scroll to dolly.
Timeline transport
- ▶ Play / ■ Stop — run or reset playback; Loop repeats; Duration sets the timeline length.
- + Keyframe (K) — snapshots every control at the playhead.
- + Text — adds a 3D title card. + Moment — adds a set piece.
- Export / Import — the whole timeline as JSON. Clear wipes it.
Everything also autosaves to the browser.
Effects track
- Diamonds are keyframes; playback blends between them with per-keyframe easing (Smooth / Linear / Hold).
- Drag a diamond to retime it — its captured settings move with it.
- Click to select and edit (time, easing, overwrite with current controls, delete).
- Double-click to load its settings back into the controls.
- Click or drag anywhere else in the strip to scrub the playhead.
- Ctrl-click items (on any track, in any mix) to multi-select them —
dragging one then moves the whole group together, and Delete removes them all.
Titles track
- + Text adds 3D text rendered in front of the camera; drop an image file on the track for an image card.
- Drag a bar to move it; drag its right edge to change how long it stays.
- Inspector: text (one line per row), font, transition (Swoop / Fade / Zoom),
transition time, size, colour and a per-title bloom toggle.
- Straighten — while the title is on screen the flight path is smoothed
(no sharp turns, gentler banking) so the card comes in cleanly. It eases in just
before the title and back out after.
Text markup
Prefix any line with {scale} to resize just that line — a number
like {0.5}, or {tiny}, {small}, {big}:

Audio track
Drop an audio file onto the track. Select the clip to set its start, length
(trims playback) and volume. Audio is synced to timeline playback.
Moments track
- Space Break — the vortex tears open to reveal space, then seals shut.
Lead-in sets how many seconds after the bar starts the break opens;
intensity drives the glowing rim.
- Lightning Storm — physical bolts arc across the tunnel; intensity sets the strike rate.
Shortcuts
- Space play / pause the timeline
- K add a keyframe at the playhead
- Delete remove the selected keyframe / title / clip / moment
- Esc exit presentation mode (or close this guide)
